This is the memorial recognizing the official landing spot of Christopher Columbus in the New World on the small island of San Salvadore, Bahamas. After much debate, and critical analysis of Columbus’ log, this spot seems most likely although flaws in all interpretations exist. San Salvadore offers great diving and small island hospitality through the Riding Rock Inn and Marina.
